A solar eclipse viewed from the summits of Les Arcs. Enjoy this exceptional event from over 2,000 metres above sea level, surrounded by breathtaking Alpine scenery and unique mountain light.

Two unforgettable experiences are available for the occasion :

Arc 1800

TRANSARC PANORAMA AT 2,100M

Take your place in the heart of the mountains and watch the eclipse from the Transarc intermediate station in Arc 1800, enjoying uninterrupted views of the surrounding peaks.

📅Programme:

  • Ride the Transarc gondola from 6:30 pm

  • Solar eclipse viewing
    → Eclipse begins at
    7:27 pm
    → Peak at 8.27 pm

  • Descent begins from 8:40 pm

  • Last gondola ride down at 8:45 pm

💡Practical information:

  • Offered for children aged 12 and under

    → Simply come directly to the gondola

  • Aged 13 or over?
    Access the gondola with a valid pass (pedestrian or mountain bike pass).

  • Special eclipse glasses will be available on site, subject to availability. If you already have some, please bring your own viewing glasses.
