THE VANOISE BALCONY (2150m)

The Vanoise balcony promises some unforgettable moments when time seems to stand still. Nature lover, enthusiastic photographer or just looking for a moment of peace and quiet, the Vanoise Balcony is the ideal place to escape the daily grind and fall under the spell of the splendour of the BellecĂ´te Chain and the Aiguille Rousse.

New this year: the balcony has been extended and refreshed to provide a stage worthy of the greatest natural shows. A sumptuous sculpted bearded vulture dominates this viewpoint and leaves no one indifferent. See for yourself!

THE VARET PANORAMIC TERRACE (2730m)

Heart rate alert! At the top of the area, perched at an altitude of more than 2700m, is a panoramic terrace which can turn heads faster than a blindfold slalom run. It’s at the top of the Varet telecabin in Arc 2000, that the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Visitors find themselves facing a breathtaking view. The peaks of the Roignais and the Pierra Menta stand proudly to make visitors’ hearts beat faster and their eyes sparkle.

☀️New this year: A new glacier area is being unveiled. The installation fits in with the architecture of the site and the natural environment, inviting visitors to pause for a moment. A suspended moment that aims to educate, inspire and encourage reflection on our shared responsibility towards nature.

THE CARRELEY PANORAMA (2380m)

View of Mont-Blanc! Captivated by the rock giants which defy the heavens, at the foot of the Col des Frettes, on the panoramic terrace, visitors will be able to test their knowledge of the peaks to find Mont Blanc. Ideal for a break, the rest area has reclining loungers and a swing which will delight both young and old. Don’t forget to take a selfie in front of the giant letters LES ARCS with the mountains as a backdrop

THE COMBORCIERE VIEWPOINT (2310m)

It’s lunchtime! On the Arc 1600 slope is a hidden spot perfectly arranged for enjoying your picnic, spiced up by a magnificent view. And that’s not all! The terrace has every comfort you need for a quick digestive nap in the sun and an opportunity to top up your tan.

THE VALLANDRY PANORAMIC TERRACE (2130m)

An attractive corner of paradise where families can make use of this rest area to admire a 360° panorama and look round the Mountain Animal Museum and learn more about biodiversity and how to protect it. The terrace is equipped with reclining loungers and picnic tables and offers an uninterrupted view of Mont Blanc. Additionally, vending machines selling local produce and drinks have been installed in an indoor area to the delight of gourmets!

CACHETTE TAKE OFF (2160m)

From Cachette Take off, in the air or on the ground, all directions are good to take. A multitude of arrows bearing the names of sacred or emblematic mountains invite paragliders, mountain bikers and hikers to dream of grandeur and escape.

Adorned with a monumental bench and a swing overlooking the valley, this observation site invites you to lose yourself in the elements and the immensity of the landscape. A weathervane and compass rose ensure that everyone finds their way home.

The illusion of flight at the top of the Cachette chairlift is very real!
